Founder
-
Anandi - Founder, Social entrepreneurAnandi is a passionate social entrepreneur dedicated to empowering grassroots artisans through sustainable livelihood opportunities. With over 12 years of experience working closely with artisan communities, she believes in co-creation—a collaborative approach where artisans lead the design process while she provides guidance and market access.
Her work is rooted in sustainability and craft continuation/preservation. She advocates for the use of organic cotton, natural dyes, and zero-waste techniques, ensuring that each piece created is both environmentally conscious and deeply meaningful. Anandi’s initiatives often include skill-sharing workshops, micro-financing support for raw materials and tools, and storytelling campaigns that celebrate the rich heritage behind each craft.
Anandi’s work bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern markets' contemporary demand, ensuring that artisans receive fair recognition, respect and economic opportunities, while preserving their craft and its cultural significance.
